Subtle, feminine handcrafted silver jewellery incorporating semi-precious stones, found objects and enamels are the hallmarks of the Scottish contemporary jeweller Kathryn Williamson.
Art school trained with over 12 years professional experience in London's jewellery and fashion industry, Kathryn has now established her jewellery business in Scotland.
The jewellery is fashion aware rather than "fashion" jewellery and compliments the wearer in an understated manner. It is Kathryn's intention that the wearer should be able to collect and compliment previous purchases with any of her new designs.
The fresh light colours of the semi-precious stones are especially chosen
to lift the spirits of the wearer. The seasons they evoke are spring and summer.
Future collections will continue this theme with the addition of a broader use of enamels, etching techniques and
found objects included in necklaces and bracelets.
Kathryn Williamson is a regular exhibitor at the Pittenweem Arts Festival in Fife and her jewellery is regularly exhibited in galleries across Scotland and the UK.
